Uniquely personal gifts have always appealed to Hamid Amirpour and his wife Alexandra. Both grew up around artisans creating beautiful handmade arts and crafts in their native Mexico and Ecuador, respectively. They learned to appreciate the heritage and craftsmanship behind these products as well as the artisans creating them.  

Inspired by a dream, the couple decided to turn their shared love of specialized quality gifts into a business after relocating to Atlanta, Georgia. Sofia’s Findings was born in March 2014. Sofia’s Findings online store started with handmade arts and crafts from small artisans and then, by customer demand, expanded to include a variety of personalized gifts for the home, kitchen, office, and all special occasions.
